The Chapman Guitars left handed vote is finally here! Southpaw Chapman fans can now start casting their votes to determine which guitar designs the company will release as lefties.
Earlier this year at Winter NAMM 2017, Chapman Guitars launched their revamped guitar range. The stable now consists of the more affordable Standard Series (made in Indonesia), and the higher-end Professional Series (made in Korea).
For the first left handed Chapman vote, southpaws will get to vote on their favorite guitar from both the Standard and Professional series. Which means that two left handed guitars will be built once all votes are cast.
Update 16/05/17 – The voting from round one is now complete. Let’s see which guitars the lefties opted for…
Here are the results from the Standard Series vote.
Next up, let’s check out the results from the Professional Series vote…
Round One Winners
So here are the two winners from the first round of voting. Unsurprisingly, lefties have shown that they want something a little different to the usual superstrats and singlecuts.
From the Standard Series the winner is the Ghost Fret, and from the Pro Series we will be getting the MLV Pro Modern. We almost ended up with two Ghost Frets, so I think this is a good result!
Stay tuned for the next round of voting where we will no doubt be allowed to choose colors and other options.
Fingers crossed that right-handed players won’t cast too many votes and cause us to end up with two black guitars, eh?
