Chapman Guitars : Left Handed Guitars

Neal Beedie June 7, 2013 1

UK based Chapman Guitars was established in 2009 by Rob Chapman, a guitarist best known for his success on Youtube. The company claims to be the first to design its guitars “collaboratively”, as the design, features and even the price of new models are selected by the votes of Chapman’s YouTube subscribers in online polls on his website.

Although there are plenty more guitars in the pipeline the company currently offers two of their guitars in a left handed version, namely the ML-1 and ML-2 reissues.

Chapman Guitars Website

Unfortunately the Chapman website currently makes no mention of left handed availability, however the exclusive dealer of the brand does clearly display southpaw models separately when visiting their site.

Next up from Chapman Guitars is the ML-3 (T-type), the ML-7 (7-string) and ML-B (bass), all of which should hopefully be available left handed.  Visit the site if you would like to be a part of the design process!

    Hi… I’m a left-hander (sorry) :)

I’m about to purchase an ML-1 but the colour options are a bit ‘weak’ :(

I’m after the ML-1 in ‘antique sunburst’ with maybe a ML-2 neck… Is this possible?

I’m still getting the ML-1 in ‘black’ because… after seeing ‘lots’ of demos, this guitar ‘shines through’ :)

    …thank you…

    Alan ‘Naughty Monkey’ Swaby :)
