I had an interview for a job at a UK guitar store this morning - and they offered me the job on the spot! So from this Tuesday I will become the Web Content Editor at GuitarGuitar. For those who don't know, that is the UK's largest guitar chain and they are AWESOME for left handed guitars, so i'm pretty pumped to start work there. The job involves photographing/photoshopping all the new gear, writing product descriptions, making graphics, coding etc etc, basically all the content that goes on the website.. so pretty much what I already do on LeftyFretz. Bit of a dream job for me really.
It should hopefully give me a lot of insider information about new guitars and what not, and I'll also have access to all of the new lefties that come into the Glasgow store. The Glasgow store has over 1000 guitars over 2 floors and there is also a digital center next door which specialises in keyboards/synths and other electronic music.
Should be a perfect match for the work I do with LeftyFretz. But I definitely think that for the first month or two site updates will temporarily suffer as I settle into the new work flow.
Good times!

Also, only a 15 minute commute, compared to 1.5 hours at my old job!
