Post Need new guitar help
Hey Folks,

So I made the mistake of not reading this site and spending about a year (on and off) trying to learn on an EXTREMELY cheap Silvertone right handed guitar that I restrung left handed. I'm left handed and I had surgery on my left hand a couple years ago making my only option to learn left handed.
Now I’m rededicating myself to learning and I’m trying to pick out guitars. I was told to look on ebay but I’m seeing a couple new, popular options on Amazon that are around the same price.

Fender Tim Armstrong Hellcat
http://www.amazon.com/Fender-Armstrong- ... 907&sr=1-2

Dean Exotica
http://www.amazon.com/Dean-Exotica-Acou ... 831&sr=1-2

Takamine G Series EG340CLH
http://www.amazon.com/Takamine-EG340CLH ... 498&sr=1-2

P.S. Kind of in love with the look of a cutaway.

Any thoughts?

If it were me and those were my choices I'd go for the Dean or Takamine. Purely because the signature model might not hold it's value as well for when you decide to sell and upgrade.

Hard to recommend anything specific without some more details. I recently picked up a Breedlove C250 and it's a lovely guitar which is very affordable http://www.ebay.com/itm/Breedlove-C250- ... 283wt_1163 When I see the price of it in the US I cry a little

I have a dean traditional s, bought it 2nd hand a while back.

It has never played particularly well, i'm sure it just needs someone who knows what they are doing to sort it out but it always feels a bit of a chore to play.
