Being an American of Scottish descent, and with my favorite spirit being Glenlivet Nadurra, I've often wondered if it's improper to drink it on St. Patty's day.

I would need a lay down.

when I was 22 a friend of mine said to me "it's a shame you country boys can't drink like us city boys can"

Being young, and dumb my reply was certainly "well let's find out!"

We traded shots through one whole bottle, and nearly a second before he quit, at which time I poured two more shots, dank them, and asked him "are we done yet?"

He passed out, and about an hour or so later I barfed like never before, or since.

Ever since then when someone has claimed they can outdrink me my reply is "you're damned right you can!".
