The young lady in the picture is my daughter, and in four weeks will be the proud recipient of a Magna cum Laude degree from a pretty danged prestigious University.

That's Guiness Lake, in the Wicklow mountains of Ireland.

She spent last Spring studying in Nantes, France, and a friend of hers was studying in Ireland.
On her return from France she came home through Ireland, and spent a week there.
