Dillion Guitars (which is a USA distributor for a series of Korean-manufactured guitars) has a fairly large number of lefty models.

Thanks BigAl. I’ve noticed a few lefty Dillions cropping up on eBay lately.
Alvarez has at least 2 lefty model acoustics. I recently purchased the RD16L. I wasn’t shopping for electrics so there may be more from them. And IIRC Stagg makes lefties (saw them in a local music store).
Thanks Mike, I’ve added Alvarez today. I’ll take a look into Stagg later on.
Neal, luv this site! As a (this is true) 40 years between guitarist, (played a STOOPID right hands thang in HS) celebrating a very rockin 60′s with a new lefty Stagg jazz semi-hollow dual pickup 350 sv now in house, you gotta list these guys ! Got mine at one of the few full house lefty stores in the galaxy, which just happens to be down the street! ( 40 years, who knew?)..here in Houston. Doesn’t hurt that in house they have one of the best Pro tune up guys in the south. Good Kharma ! He chisled down the frets a little, re-layered, re-set, that thing is like olive oil. Your site is a real blessing and I like your AUTHENTICITY. Will be around. 30 years in media btw. The best !
Thanks Scott
I am on the search for a really good quality lefty acoustic guitar for my son. He has a decent Dean but has “outgrown” that and looking for a higher quality custom made. He’d of course die for a Taylor, Martin or PRS but can’t afford that yet. Could someone give me a recommendation for a more affordable option. Even used if the quality & price worked for us. Thanks.
It really depends on where you live, budget, style of music etc etc.. Try asking in the forum, if you give some more specific requirements i’m sure people will be able to help you.
Thanks for the advice. I will try the forums. Just found this site.
What about TAKAMINE brand, they have some acoustic guitars for left handed?
Thanks,
Andy
They do. But when I contacted them to find out they couldn’t give me a list as they were unsure what was available… I’ll try again soon.
AXL makes at least one of their electric models in lefty (I have the SRO Badwater brown in lefty. Found it new, liquidated on ebay through a guy in Nashville. Also available on Amazon).

Also a Mayhem Jacknife on Musiciansfriend if you’re interested. Pretty nice
