NEW! Left Handed PRS SE Custom 24

PRS SE Custom 24 Left Handed

OK. This is pretty MASSIVE news!

Once a year or two PRS releases a small run of limited edition lefties, which although great, are out of reach for the majority of players.

After posting about these beauties, most of the comments we get back are along the lines of “Those are amazing, but there’s no way I can afford one. Why don’t they bring out some SEs?”

PRS will be releasing not one, not two, not even three, but four left handed SE Custom 24s! And what’s even more surprising is that not a single one of them will be in that age old southpaw favorite finish – black. (Although I do like a black PRS!).

These guitars will have the same specifications as the current 2017 SE Custom 24s and come in your choice of Whale Blue, Trampas Green, Tobacco Sunburst, or Fire Red Burst.

  • Body : Mahogany w/ Maple Top
  • Neck : Wide Thin Maple
  • Fingerboard : Rosewood
  • Scale Length : 25″
  • Bridge : PRS Tremolo
  • Tuners : PRS SE
  • Pickups : PRS 85/15 “S”
  • Controls : Volume and Push-Pull Tone with 3-Way Blade Switch

The left handed PRS SE Custom 24 will be available to pre-order in the UK from guitarguitar, priced at £825.

And funny enough, my Wife understood my PRS plight so we’ll, that she told me to buy it right away. Love that girl, even if she’s right handed.

Um, 800 pounds is around $1400. Will they be cheaper here in the states? Because that’ll be the most expensive budget guitars to date. We should just presd everyone to buy used bc you can buy Mccarty’s and Custom 24’s for around $1400 all day.

Lovely guitars. But PRS make us wait for ever and then price the guitars £100 above the equivalent right hand model? I understand all the “it costs more to make” debate – even though as an engineer I think it is overstated – but it is a marketing decision to mark the guitars up by £100. Not sure I want to spend my money supporting this company – but equally not sure I want to cut my nose off to spite my face 🙂
