X-Ray Guitars : Left Handed Guitars

XRay Guitars is a custom guitar shop located in Michigan, USA.  They produce a small number of hand-carved designs including a highly detailed replica of George Lynch’s ‘Mr Scary’ guitar which is now available left handed.

After a number of requests from left handed customers the company has finally released a lefty version of their Skull & Bones guitar.  This model is based on the guitar that George Lynch played during his Dokken days, originally designed by Hollywood horror make-up artist Johnny Frog.

As each guitar is hand-carved they will all have their own slightly unique nuances. This would make a really unique acquisition for any lefty George Lynch and Dokken fans!

Don’t hate. It may not be very attractive, but it’s a legendary instrument. The fact that lefties can get it now is pretty cool if you ask me.

Peeeeeace… I’m sure it’s an important release, I’m only saying that, to me, this thing is ugly as can be. I love electric guitars not only for the sound, but for the looks. Telecasters, strats, Les Pauls, Rickenbakers, semi-hollows… There are soooo many very beautiful guitars… And this… is not. In my humble opinion.

Rafa, I respect your opinion. However, as I own the very first lefty from X-Ray Guitar and a 20 year veteran guitarist I can say without a doubt that the look is not for everyone, but if your a fan once you play this beast you’ll fall in love with it. By far the best lefty I ever played and I own some pretty high end lefties. The picture they posted is not the lefty though. The lefty which you can see on xrayguitar.com (the lefty I own) the headstock faces down just like in the it’s not love video as thats the way I wanted it.
