Event : Left-Handed Bass Guitar Big Bash Day

Good news for all left handed bass guitar players in the UK, as we’ve just found out about an exciting new event which is going down in April.  This exclusive day-long extravaganza will give you the opportunity to drool over a huge selection of southpaw bass guitars, all under one roof!

Finding a good left handed guitar these days is becoming an easier task, however it is still pretty tricky sourcing a store with an adequate stock of left handed basses.  As a result most southpaw bass players will often resort to ordering their new guitar without trying it first – not ideal!  So this event will enable you to try out a variety of different guitars in order to find your best match.

A variety of basses are already confirmed, from vintage Fenders to 7-string customs, and attendees are also encouraged to bring along their own basses.  A great selection of exciting rigs will also be available to test out. UK stores Bass Direct and Bass Gear will both be in attendance to showcase their entire stock of left handed instruments.

The event (organised by Basschat.co.uk) will take place on April 1st 2012 (it isn’t an April Fools joke, honest!) at the Porridge Pot in Warwick, near Birmingham.  Entry is free, however space is limited, so if you are interested in attending please email patch.006@hotmail.co.uk to secure your place.

There is a thread devoted to the event on the BassChat forums, however you will need to register in order to view it.  Once registered you can read it here.
