Below, I’ve rounded up the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales from the major retailers, including Sweetwater, Guitar Center, Amazon, and Thomann. I’ll keep adding new offers as they launch, so bookmark this page and check back often.

When Is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving. The deals carry on through the weekend, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30.
Many stores roll Black Friday and Cyber Monday into one long sale, and some keep their prices down into the first week of December. Others switch back to full price the moment Cyber Monday ends, so if you spot the guitar you want at a good price, don’t count on it still being there next week.

1. Sweetwater Black Friday Sale 2026
Sweetwater’s full sale hasn’t launched yet, but its early Black Friday sale is live now, with over 5,000 deals and up to 60% off guitars, basses, amps, pedals, accessories, and recording gear.
Check back soon to see when the full Black Friday event launches. Sweetwater usually follows it with a separate Cyber Monday sale, so it’s worth another look on the 30th too.
2. Guitar Center Black Friday Sale 2026
Guitar Center’s pre-Black Friday sale is live now, with up to 30% off gear from brands like Fender and Epiphone until November 11. The main Black Friday sale hasn’t launched yet, so check back soon to see when it starts.
Last year’s Black Friday sale had up to 40% off guitars from brands like Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, and PRS, along with amps, pedals, drums, and keyboards. GC has also run a Black Friday sweepstakes in recent years, with thousands of dollars’ worth of gear up for grabs (US residents only).

3. Amazon Black Friday Guitar Deals
Amazon hasn’t announced its 2026 Black Friday dates yet. Once it does, I’ll add them here.
Amazon is a good place to hunt for cheap guitars, accessories, and beginner gear, and it stocks plenty of budget brands you won’t find in regular music stores. Look out for clippable coupons on product pages too, as they knock a little extra off at checkout.

4. Thomann Black Friday Deals 2026
If you’re shopping in Europe or the UK, Thomann is the sale to watch. Its Cyber Deals sale is live now until November 30, with up to 70% off across over 1,500 deals on guitars, basses, amps, pedals, drums, recording gear, and more.

5. TrueFire Black Friday Lesson Deals
TrueFire is one of the biggest online guitar lesson sites, with tens of thousands of video lessons covering every style and level, taught by well-known players and teachers.
TrueFire’s early Black Friday deals are live now until November 27:
- All Access (1 year): 70% off, so $77.88 for the first year (it renews at $99 a year)
- Courses, songs, and jams: $9.99 or less each
- Guitar Methods: 50% off

The Black Friday sale itself then runs from November 27 to November 30, followed by Cyber Monday deals until December 2. I’ll add the details here as each one goes live.
6. Reverb Black Friday Sale 2026
Reverb is a marketplace rather than a regular store, so its Black Friday sale mixes new, used, and B-stock gear from music shops and private sellers. If you like the idea of a used guitar at a Black Friday price, start here.
Reverb’s sale is live now, with up to 20% off guitars, amps, pedals, and more.
7. Positive Grid Black Friday Deals
Positive Grid is best known for its Spark smart amps, but it also makes Spark headphone amps, BIAS amp-modeling software, wireless footswitches, and plenty of accessories.
Its early holiday sale is live now, with up to 40% off across the Spark range and BIAS X software. Highlights include:

8. Musician’s Friend Black Friday Deals
Musician’s Friend isn’t the store it used to be. In May 2026, Guitar Center (which owns it) relaunched it as an online outlet for overstock, open-box, and discontinued gear from big-name brands, so prices are already marked down before any holiday sale.
It hasn’t said whether it’ll run a separate Black Friday sale this year, so I’ll update this section if it announces one. Stock is limited and changes often, so if you spot something you want, don’t sit on it.

Cyber Monday Guitar Deals 2026
Cyber Monday falls on Monday, November 30 this year, and it marks the end of the Black Friday weekend.
Stores handle it in different ways. Sweetwater has usually followed Black Friday with a separate Cyber Monday sale, while Reverb has kept one sale running from Black Friday through to Monday. Thomann’s Cyber Deals finish on the 30th, so Monday is your last chance there.

When Do the BEST Black Friday Guitar Deals Start?
There’s no single answer, because every store does it differently. Some launch their sales weeks before Black Friday, while others save their biggest price drops for the weekend itself or for Cyber Monday.
If you have your eye on a particular guitar, keep checking its price in the run-up to Black Friday. When it drops to a price you’re happy with, don’t hold out for a better deal that may never come, especially if stock is limited.
