The SlimTaper Rounded C neck, rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays, and vintage-accurate side dots deliver both comfort and authenticity.
It’s equipped with USA-made Firebird mini humbuckers, CTS pots, Mallory capacitors, and classic hardware including Kluson “banjo” tuners and a Maestro Vibrola. The guitar comes in a vintage-style gloss finish and includes an Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom hardshell case.

1964 SG Standard Reissue with Maestro Vibrola

Update April 4th.
A few readers had mentioned that this model is showing as being available left handed on the Epiphone website. I did spot this, however, there was no mention of a lefty version in Epiphone’s press release or on their dealer website.
I have since spotted this model in stock and for sale at Chicago Music Exchange, so it would appear that it does exist!
1963 Firebird I Reissue (Cancelled)

Update April 4th.
Again, there is no mention in the press release, and the Epiphone website doesn’t offer a left-handed option. However, Southpaw Guitars have posted online that they will be getting this model! Here is a link to their Instagram post if you would like to get in touch for info.
Update May 3rd.
Unfortunately, Southpaw Guitars has just informed me that the red Firebird has been cancelled and is no longer available.
