I’ve always thought it somewhat strange that Epiphone did away with their more budget-friendly guitars. Up until now, the cheapest left-handed Epiphone was the Les Paul Junior at around $500. A decent chunk of change to spend on a first guitar, and a price point that probably sent new players towards other brands.
But at $299 each, these two no-frills guitars offer an excellent introductory price-point for new players looking to dip their toes into the world of guitar. Or, they should also make solid backup instruments for players on a tighter budget.
Both of these new southpaw guitars are expected to arrive in stores around December 2024.
