Gibson Custom Shop has today unveiled a new and incredibly limited edition recreation of Jimi Hendrix’s very famous ’69 Flying V, which he most notably used at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970.
And most importantly, there will be a small number of left handed models for those southpaws lucky enough to be able to afford one!

The original left handed Flying V was custom ordered by Hendrix from Gibson.
The guitar features an aged ebony finish as well as aged gold hardware for that truly authentic look.

The guitar ships with a custom Jimi Hendrix ‘Band of Gypsys’ hard case. Inside the case you’ll find a certificate of authenticity, Hendrix picks and a limited edition Hendrix print signed by engineer/producer Eddie Kramer.
Only 25 of these very special left handed Flying Vs will be produced, hand-crafted by Gibson’s finest luthiers in Nashville, USA.
