LeftyGuitarsOnly is a new left-handed guitar store located in Boston, USA.  After having spoken with the owner several months back I could swear that I had told you lovely people about this new company, but alas, I apparently have not! Let’s rectify that…

So perhaps you’ve heard of them by now, but in case you haven’t – LeftyGuitarsOnly is a new store which specializes in high-end left-handed acoustic and electric guitars.  In fact, many an average joe guitarist probably won’t have heard of a few of the highly sought after brands which the store stocks.  They really do have some exquisite pieces for sale which would almost certainly usually be a special order with a hefty waiting period attached.

All guitars are accompanied by some truly beautiful photography which really shows off each piece in its full glory. The store also stocks a small selection of amps, effects and accessories.

A useful feature of the website is a section which displays the guitars that are currently on order and should be arriving soon, as well as guitars which have just recently arrived.

Definitely give them a look if you’re hoping for something a little more exotic as your next guitar! Their showroom is open 10am-6pm Monday to Friday.

NAMM is just a few days away now, and another juicy piece of news has recently emerged.  Fender recently released a signature Kurt Cobain Jaguar, and now it seems they will also be releasing a Kurt Cobain Mustang!

This new guitar will be on offer in three different finishes, and each will be available left handed.  The finishes are Fiesta Red, Sonic Blue, and Lake Placid Blue w/ stripe.

Fender Kurt Cobain Mustang Left Handed Guitar

Inspired by his arsenal of modded guitars, the new Fender Kurt Cobain Mustang takes you back there, with highly distinctice features including the classic 24” Mustang scale length, an angled single coil Mustang neck pickup and ferocious Seymour Duncan JB humbucking bridge pickup mounted directly to the body.  There are dual on-off/phase in-out switches for each pickup, a polyester-finished alder body and an adjustomatic bridge with dynamic vibrato tailpiece.

There’s a new left handed guitar store in town, and it’s called ‘Xtreme Lefty Guitars (XLG).  This brand new Florida, USA based company deals only in left handed guitars and basses, and should be well worth keeping an eye on.

As should be expected with a new store, the current stock is quite limited, but give it some time and this company looks to become a great source for left handed players located in North America.  XLG certainly has  an impressive range of brands in the pipeline, including some exclusive guitars from custom luthier Bernie Rico Jr!  At present the store’s showroom only appears to be viewable by pre-arranged appointment, but all stock is obviously available to order online.

The company also stocks a small range of accessories such as pickups, strings and company tshirts, as well as a selection of used guitars.
