New Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute Left Handed

Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute left-handed acoustic guitar thumbnail

Epiphone has unveiled the new Hummingbird Tribute, an affordable acoustic guitar inspired by the legendary Gibson Hummingbird. Better still, this new model is available left-handed in a classy Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish.

It is always nice to see another affordable left-handed acoustic added to the lineup, especially one with such a recognisable design behind it. The Hummingbird Tribute gives players the classic square-shoulder dreadnought look without the premium Gibson price tag.

A Budget-Friendly Hummingbird-Style Acoustic

Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute left-handed acoustic guitar in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish

The Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute features a layered mahogany body paired with a select layered spruce top. That should give it a warm, balanced acoustic voice that will work nicely for a variety of playstyles.

The guitar also includes plenty of Hummingbird-inspired visual touches. You get antique ivory-colored binding, a reverse belly laurel bridge, ivory-colored bridge pins, and the famous Hummingbird-style tortoise pickguard. The headstock uses Epiphone’s Kalamazoo shape, which adds a nice vintage touch.

The glued-in mahogany neck has a Rounded C profile, while the laurel fingerboard comes with 20 frets, dot inlays, and matching antique ivory-colored binding.

The left-handed Epiphone Hummingbird Tribute is available in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Right-handed players also get Antique Natural and Ebony options, but as if often the case, us lefties get just one finish. Thankfully, it is arguably the best-looking one of the bunch!
