Fender has today unveiled an upgraded refresh of their best-selling Player range of guitars and basses. Read on to find out more about the all-new left-handed Fender Player II Series models.
The Fender Player series was originally introduced back in 2018 and instantly became a smash hit for the California brand. Allowing every day guitarists to get a hold of a quality Fender at an affordable price was clearly a recipe for success.
Thanks to feedback from the lovely LeftyFretz readers, we even got our very first left handed HSS Strat in the form of a Player series model!
Now, fast forward to 2024 and Fender has decided that the line requires a refresh to make the series even more desirable. And they didn’t forget about us southpaws…
Fender Player II Left Handed Guitars
So, what’s new? These models now include rosewood fretboards (instead of Pau Ferro) with rolled edges, upgraded hardware, as well as brand new finish options.
At the moment, southpaws will have 2 different guitars to choose from that are available in 3 finishes each. Unfortunately, there are no basses as of yet.
