Charvel Left Handed Guitars

Looking for left handed Charvel guitars? In this guide I’ll give you the lowdown on exactly what instruments from the Charvel range are available as lefties this year!

It’s great to see that the Fender owned brand has spiced up the color selection on offer this year, as in previous years lefties had only been available in black. Personally I think that the shell pink DK24 is one of the best left handed electric guitars currently available!

Let’s take a look…

Does Charvel Make Left Handed Guitars?

Yes! At the time of writing there are 5 different left handed Charvel guitars available. These are all electric guitars from the Pro-Mod series, a range of solid body instruments designed for incredibile playability and performance.

1. Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH Left Handed

Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH Left Handed

A modern metal machine that fans of shred guitar will adore! The Pro-Mod DK24 HH features a lightweight and comfortable Jackson Dinky body built from alder, and a ultra-stable bolt-on caramelized maple neck and 24 fret fingerboard.

A 12″-16″ compound radius fretboard flattens out in the higher frets to allow technical players to execute fast and precise runs. Rolled fretboard edges provide additional comfort for the fingers.

The dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers provide an excellent array of tones, with both pickups complementing each other nicely. The Full Shred bridge humbucker pumps out a super-tight bass response with bags of sustain, while the Alnico II Pro neck humbucker will give you a ton of dynamics with a sweet, bluesy treble side.

A huge variety of tones are on offer thanks to the 5-way selector switch plus 2-way mini that allows for series and parallel selection.

Lastly, a recessed Gotoh tremolo provides extra voice to your playing without compromising tuning.

2. Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH Sassafras Left Handed

Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH Sassafras Left Handed

The Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH serves up tone by the truckload, and is hot-rodded for full speed performance!

The curvy and comfortable sassafras body is coupled with premium appointments such as Charvel’s maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement rods. The compound radius fingerboard with rolled edges and jumbo frets makes this beast a guitar shredder’s dream axe.

On pickup duty are two hot Seymour Duncan humbuckers which promise monster tone! The JB in the bridge is Seymour Duncan’s most popular humbucker, providing a warm and powerful low end with articulate and detailed trebles. Meanwhile, the ’59 neck humbucker is brilliant for rhythm work as well as jazz and blues leads.

A 3-way pickup selector combined with a push-pull coil-split ensures that a huge range of tones are always on tap.

It also features an ultra-stable Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo, which should allow you to unleash all of the whammy bar tricks your heart could desire, whilst still maintaining perfect pitch.

Last up in the southpaw stable we have these two high-octane Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 HH FR models, which are available in either snow white or gloss black. Looks wise, these two will instantly transport you back to the legendary superstrat era of the 80s!

Another absolute shred monster, the So-Cal embodies that iconic Southern California aesthetic and tone, with 2 hot-rodded Seymour Duncan humbuckers, double-locking Floyd Rose tremolo, and contrasting body and scratchplate.
